DESCRIPTION:

A quick and easy delicious and mouth-watering soft savory pancake, prepared in less than 30 mins and has the taste of oats in every bite. Over all a great recipe for health lovers.

DIRECTIONS :
In a blender first powder the Quaker oats or old-fashioned oats to a fine powder.
Take a bowl add the powdered oats along with the chickpea flour and mix well, then add ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves, spring onions and carrom seeds, red chili powder, pepper powder, asafetida, salt, turmeric powder and mix them all well.
Now start adding water and make sure the water is added little by little as Oats and chickpea flour has the tendency to absorb more water. The batter should be thick and soft with a pouring consistency.
Take a skillet and heat it on a medium flame. Once hot drizzle a teaspoon of vegetable oil and add a ladle full of batter and spread evenly.
Make sure the pancakes are not too thick , cover and cook on medium flame to make sure they are cooked evenly.
Once the bottom of the pancake is cooked, drizzle some more oil on the top and gently flip the pancake using a spatula.
Cover and cook till completely done remove the pancake and place on a plate, repeat the same process with rest of the batter.
Serve with ketchup or Chutney of your choice.
