A tire inflator: A tire inflator is one of the most valuable gadgets I ever processed. You can easily connect the inflator to your car's auxiliary power input point and fill up the punctured tire. It has also been super helpful when I get distress calls from my wife after her car or scooter gets a punctured tire. I have been using the Bergmann Typhoon for over two years now and am super happy with it.

2. Car Jump Starter: A car jump starter is another tool beneficial when your battery gets drained off in the middle of nowhere due to aging or because your car interior lights were on by mistake at the parking lot and the battery has drained fully. If you have a jump starter, you can start your car without any difficulty.
3. Garbage bin: A garbage bin is handy during trips or even otherwise as there is always some trash that's generated inside the car cabin. This bin accommodates most of the garbage generated during the trip. Below is a link to a trash can that fits the cup holder of your car.
4. Medical Box: A medical box with a first aid kit with scissors, bandages, and tweezers, and essential medicines like Paracetamol and pain balms are always handy during a trip. If you have seniors traveling with you, make sure to carry all their medications and have an extra stock of rare medicines which may not be available everywhere. I would also recommend a nice cozy blanket and a pair of pillows for the rear-seated passengers, helping you drive peacefully without getting requests to lower your air-conditioning, especially if you are like me, who likes to travel with the air-conditioning at its full blast.

5. Seat Gap Pockets: We all know that the gap between seats accumulates lots of dust and dirt, and it isn't easy to clean. Installing a seat gap pocket will minimize dirt accumulation and get converted into a handy storage space for little things that the user can store inside the car.
6. 360 degrees Blind spot mirror: A blind spot mirror helps you see what your rearview mirror cannot see. It's an inexpensive and handy fixture to your rearview mirror. All you have to do is get it fixed to your rearview mirror. Now you can see what your rearview mirror cannot see. Having a blind spot mirror adds another tick when it comes to the safety aspects of your road trip.
7. Rear seat pocket bag: A rear seat pocket holder can hold bottles, mobile phones, magazines, and much more and helps in keeping your car super organized at all times. It enables you to relax and enjoy your trip. When kids know where things are, they can help themselves with water bottles, snacks, etc., making your trip more peaceful, especially if you are a mom.

8. Car phone mount: A simple gadget especially helpful when your co-driver is fast asleep and you are covering the unknown territory. Having it installed also makes it easier to put your phone at a designated place and makes it easier to get it if you need it.
9. Neck Support pillows: Neck support pillows are an absolute must when traveling a long distance. Make sure you have one for each passenger to ensure a peaceful trip.
10. A Thermos Flask: I consider this one of the essential items with regards to safety. Having your strong black coffee or tea handy helps you be awake, especially while driving at night when most passengers are fast asleep. Driving at night is a peaceful experience with empty roads and soft music, but it can sometimes make you sleepy. It's always a good idea to park in a safe place like a gas station and take a nap. You can resume your trip after a power nap and a hot cup of coffee.
11. Toilet seat Sanitizer: You may often have to use the toilet at roadside restaurants or gas stations. Having a toilet seat sanitizer kills off unwanted smells and bacteria and makes your experience a safer one. There are a lot of options from Dettol, Pee Safe, and Savlon. You can choose what best suits your budget.

12. Water Resistant Flashlight: A water-resistant flashlight is handy because most breakdowns happen in rainy weather or snow. Keep a good quality flashlight handy to use when required as an SOS light. You can either use a headlight or a handheld light at your convenience.
13.Tow strap: A good quality tow strap is an absolute must when it comes to a long road trip. Ensure to check the quality before buying the tow strap and before the trip if you have not used it for a long time to ensure that it's in perfect condition.

14. Dashboard Camera: A dashcam can record any untoward incident, and which in turn can be produced as proof in court. Go pro is a good camera I would recommend as I have used those extensively on my road trips. You can also use it as a vlogging camera and use it for your underwater shots. If you do not want to spend too much on a Go pro, you can use cheaper options. Check out the link below for lesser-priced dash cams.
15. Spare Headlamps: Always have a pair of spare headlamps, especially on long trips. A dying headlamp can reduce your road vision to nearly 50%, thereby increasing the chances of an accident.
