Ask a woman how she is, and her reply would be great going. But inside her, a lot of waves of insecurity about things that she cannot cope with or prove, anxiety about her parents, kids, partner and sometimes her career and many more which she successfully hides behind her smile.

I think I have made my stand clear but I don’t in anyways say that men don’t face any mental health issues. They do but the severity is much more in women than men.
Now coming back to the topic of mental health. It refers to the way we feel, think and act. It refers to how we react to a particular situation and how appropriately we handle our stress in our day-to-day life and also how we behave socially.
Early signs of mental health problems:
Feeling sad most of the time, and a constant feeling of irritation.
Lots of mood swings (can be very happy at a time and can be very sad at a time.)
There is persistent fear, worry and anxiety
Do not feel like socializing with family and friends rather prefer being alone.
Either feeling too sleepy or less sleepy or feel like eating too much or does not feel like eating at all.
Feeling guilty and worthless.
There are many ways to improve mental health in women.
Meditate is one of the best things one can do to oneself. Meditation helps as a self-calming technique. It also helps in the overall building of a strong relationship with people.
Learn new things, and work on understanding every concept.
Healthily express your emotions. For Eg, if you are irritated settle in a quiet place understand Why you are irritated? What are the proper options to let your irritation out? Talk out about your irritation and also your emotion regarding it.
Understand others viewpoints also and also consider their emotions.
Get proper sleep. At least 8 hours of sleep is necessary for the proper functioning of an individual.
Stay positive. In this pandemic, the best way to keep yourself motivated is to always remain positive.
Try doing things or follow hobbies that you enjoy doing so that you remain motivated.
Make new friends and connect with your old friends so that you can share your emotions and well-being with them.
Express your gratitude to people who help you to stay strong.
Exercise regularly so that your physical and mental health is well-taken care of.
Eat healthy and balanced food.
Avoid smoking and anything dangerous for your health.
Lastly but not least always consult a mental health provider like a psychologist if you ever feel you need help.

Very well written Nayana. Many times women do not want to discuss their problems and many consider seeing a psychologist or a psychiatrist shameful.
