While most of us have loved to go to school and still get nostalgic thinking of school days, concepts like homeschooling and unschooling are slowly becoming parents' choices around the world. Although the percentage of unschooling kids is much lesser as compared to the homeschooling and schooling children.
When we were at school, we all know that we learned to coexist, share a bench with another child, and follow a curriculum. We also learned to quarrel and safeguard our interests when needed. We learned to meet kids from different financial and cultural backgrounds and understand their culture, and we learned to celebrate their festivals.
However, things are changing today. Let's take a look at other ways of learning.

Homeschooling: Now, let's talk about homeschooling. Here the child does not go to school, and the parents take the responsibility of teaching their kids. Also, the parents decide what curriculum the child should follow. Here the students learn at home, and homework is assigned by the parents, unlike schools where sometimes the parents do the homework as either the child is unable to do it, or the homework or activity is too much to handle for the child. In my house, I am the artist and the crafts guy. So all the homework related to art and craft comes to me, which is actually not fun.
When you choose to homeschool the child, you decide to dedicate your time to them. At least for one parent, it's a full-time job. Homeschooling works best when there is more than one child as there are more activities at home, and the kids can help each other in their studies, lift each other up and grow together. If you are planning to homeschool your child, do so only if you have loads of patience with kids and are ready to answer questions from society as to why you are homeschooling your kids. Answering everyone could be frustrating. Also, make sure your kid wants to homeschool. Also, the relationship between both parents has to be great, and there have to be lots of love between both of you if you plan to homeschool your kids. The excellent part of homeschooling is that your family relationships will be much stronger as the family spends most of their time together and enjoys great holidays and quality family time. You could have vacations whenever you like, even while the rest of the world is busy with school shopping or shopping for school.

Unschooling: When the child is allowed to learn what they want to, it's unschooling. The parents only provide the necessary tools and ecosystem for their kids to learn. There is no curriculum here. The child could learn what he wants to learn using the tools around them. The children can try different things, and if they do not like what they do, they can try something else. They are the teachers to them themselves. To these kids, the learning happens when they travel around, like learning to read from signages, learning history by looking at monuments and geography by traveling to different places. Here the child becomes street smart at an early age. They get to interact with the world and learn from it.
To school or Unschool
Making a choice depends on the parent's willingness to devote time towards their children and the child's will to Unschool. I personally feel that the child is sent to school until they can decide on their own.
