CBSE is one of the well-recognized boards in India, with students coming from various countries within India and abroad who appear for these exams. The CBSE board adheres to strict rules and regulations. Due to the pandemic, the CBSE Board had cancelled the X & XII exams last year due to the increasing number of cases in India. The CBSE Board has announced two board exams for the academic year 2021 - 2022 to increase the probability of an unpredictable move by the Education Board.
Let us learn more about this on the flip side of the article.

To understand this better, let us take a closer look at the circular shared by the CBSE Board on its official platform. Let us begin by breaking the circular down to get an insight into the pattern this year.
The CBSE Board has launched a scheme this year to increase the probability of the exam conducted by the Board this year.
According to this scheme, the syllabus prescribed for the entire year will be broken down into two equal parts. Fifty per cent of the syllabus will be assessed in the first term, and the Board will evaluate the rest in the second term.
The syllabus will be rationalized, i.e. reduced just like the last year. The Board did not prescribe any substantial reduction percentage of the syllabus rationalization presently.
The Board will appoint Subject Experts to divide the syllabus into two equal parts and confirm the reduced syllabus, which is expected to be shared by CBSE by the end of this month.
Internal Assessment/Practical/Project work will be given more importance, and the Board will also work to attribute a fair number of marks for the same, which is yet to be released.
The schools will continue to teach online until the situation permits offline teaching. The school will conduct three exams throughout the year (except Term 1 and Term 2).
The Board also promises to release sample papers and other essential resources for better preparation.
At the end of Term 1, Term 1 exams will be conducted by the Board under the supervision of External Center Superintendents and Observers appointed by CBSE in the students' respective schools. These exams will be held in the Months of Nov-Dec 2021, and the schools will be given a flexible period of 4-8 weeks for the smooth functioning of the same. An objective paper for 90 minutes will have to be attempted by the students on OMR Sheets. Marks of this exam will be added to the final score.
At the end of Term 2, Term 2 or Final Exams would be held by the Board in respective centers allocated by the Board in the months of Mar-Apr 2022, which would be a subjective paper for 2 hours.
The Board will give more weightage to the exam held under its supervision. If the situation is unfavorable for the conduction of exams, then the exams will be facilitated through online mode.
If the Board is not holding both the exams, they will be held online, and Internal Assessments will also contribute towards the final score.
Is it a wise move?
This scheme is deemed beneficial for students who thought that grading them based on their internal assessments was unfair.
Due to the increased probability of conduction the exams, the students will become more firm towards their goals.
The Board has given the students a clear picture at the beginning of the year, which avoids further confusion.
The Board is ready for all the scenarios, which shows that they are well prepared and the students will not be left without an answer.
The CBSE Board is trying its level best for the smooth functioning of this academic year.
Home & Much More wishes you all the very best for your Boards 2021-22.
Good Luck! 👍
